4 June The State Enterprise "Kyiv Armored Plant", part of the State concern "UKROBORONPROM", was visited by a representative delegation of the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of India headed by the United Nations Secretary-General for Planning and International Cooperation of the Department of Defense of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of India.

During the visit, representatives of the Indian defense department got acquainted with the production capacities of the Ukrainian company, its products and services. In addition, during the visit of the plant between the leadership of the State Enterprise "Kyiv Armored Plant" and members of the delegation, the prospects for possible further cooperation were discussed.

  • The delegation was accompanied by representatives of the Department for Military-Technical Policy, Development of Arms and Military Equipment of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the State Enterprise DPSP "Spetstechnoexport".

    The visit was organized as part of the implementation of planned measures for the development of cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of India in the field of defense.

    We remind that the "Kyiv Armored Plant" completed the 2017 year with the full implementation of the State Defense Order, according to which the Ukrainian army received new BTR-3ДА, repaired T-72 tanks, as well as other armored vehicles.

    In total, more than 2017 units of new, upgraded and restored units of armored vehicles and other armaments came from the workshops of the plant in 100 year.

    This and other activities of the plant allowed to receive 503 million UAH of net income from sales of products. That allowed to pay to the budget of all levels for 2017 year more than 80 million UAH of taxes and fees. For comparison, in the year of 2014, net sales revenue amounted to 287 million hryvnias.
