According to the State Statistics Service, in the first quarter of this year, Ukrainian farmers exported to the foreign markets of their products at 4,3 billion US dollars.

Traditionally, the largest share in agrarian exports is made from vegetable products, which were exported for $ 2,2 billion, including grain crops - $ 1,6 billion.

    In the first quarter of 2018, Ukraine imported agricultural products at $ 1,3 billion, which allowed the formation of a positive foreign trade surplus for this group of goods at $ 3 billion.

    In terms of product groups, Ukraine imported:

    • live animals and products of animal origin - $ 210 million;
    • products of plant origin - $ 570 million;
    • fats and oils - $ 65 million;
    • ready-made food products - $ 498 million
